Basil

Basil, a serious young man of good family, becomes infatuated with a veiled woman he sees on an omnibus, Margaret Sherwin, the young daughter of a linen draper. They marry, but the marriage is kept secret. When Margaret goes to a party with Robert Mannion, her father's confidential clerk, Basil follows them and he realizes they are lovers.
